Hello Again

Boy, has it been a long time since I updated this site. Not much time to do it. We are always on the go. We are all doing well. Sarah started Pre-k at the end of August. She seems to be doing really well. We just came back from Ft Walton Beach, FL. We had the best vacation ever. It gets better and better every year. Mom, Jerry, Carrie and Paul all stayed with us and Kelly and her family stayed at the same resort. It was GREAT seeing everyone. I will try and post some pictures later this week.

We have been so busy with birthday parties, 4th of July celebrations, beach trip and Sarah's birthday. Thing are finally HOT here. I thought I was in Alabama today is was so hot. I enjoyed it.

Hello Everyone. FINALLY - the warm weather is here after only 7 short months of winter. We are sooo excited. We had a very busy weekend. We went to the pool a couple of times with Danny. We also went to a festival 'Newark Nights'. The Newark Post took Sarah's picture riding a horse and she is supposed to be in the paper. How exciting!!!

Hey Everyone. This past weekend was my 30th birthday.:( I was not excited about it at all, but we had a very busy day. Sarah had a play date with her best friend Olivia from her old school. We went to Chesapeake Inn and celebrated my birthday and 2 of my other friends. Even though I was not at home for my birthday, I was glad I was still able to celebrate with such great people. We had a great time.

Sarah's teacher from her old school, Ms Gina, watched Sarah and Danny. Sarah was so excited to see her. Everyday since Sarah has asked if Ms Gina is coming over. If was nice having a sitter for once. We will have to do it again!!!

Sunday was a beautiful day. We went swimming at the pool.

We had a very busy weekend. Sarah had a birthday party and I had a cocktail party with the Junior League.

Sarah had a blast at the birthday party. It was at The Little Gym. Once she let go of my leg she had an excellent time. She was participating in all the activities. She starts gymnastics this fall. After watching her at the party, I am very excited to see her do this.

The cocktail party was beautiful. It was at Brent and Barbara DuPont's house. It was ENORMOUS. I have never been in a house so big in my life. It was a fantastic party and Zach and I really enjoyed it.

Hello Everyone. Today was a very hard day. Sarah started a new school. Zach and I wanted to stay with her longer than we did. The teacher thought it would be best if we left. Sarah was crying. It broke my heart. Thank goodness I have a nice boss and she let me leave early and go get her.

We went home this weekend for Nicole's wedding(Zach's sister). It was beautiful. She was beautiful. Sarah was the flower girl. She would not walk down the aisle and throw her flowers even though she had talked about it for a week and was soooo excited. I was the also in the wedding - Sarah comes up to me while the preacher is talking 'Mommy, I just want to go sit with my Poppa. Take me to Poppa.' She was so loud. Zach had to come get her so she would quit talking so loud. It was a short trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I hardly even got to see my parents. :(

Sarah had her surgery on Friday. Before they took her to the OR, they gave her this medicine that made her very loopy. Zach and I were laughing at her and she kept laughing. She could hardly hold her self up. We did not know we needed to bring the camcorder to the hospital. The surgery took longer than expected due to some drainage in her throat, which was causing some breathing problems. They were not able to start the actual procedure for about 30 minutes. She still has some drainage in her chest that we can hear, but she is breathing fine. On the way home from the hospital we stopped at Toys R Us, Zach went in and bought her this HUGE pink pony that she has been wanting. It is as big as I am. She sleeps with it in her bed and plays on it all the time.

Yesterday afternoon it was beautiful. After Sarah woke up from her nap we went to 3 different playgrounds in the complex for about an hour. We were able to wear short sleeves with no jacket. Yippee!!! Zach grilled hamburgers and Sarah discovered 3 cats that live in the woods behind us. She says she needs to get fresh air and goes out to watch the cats.

Today is Sunday - it is rainy and cold yet again. I am so ready for some warm weather. I am really missing Mom today. Last week she did all my laundry and ironing. I am not looking forward to doing that today. We did not make it to church today. After the stressful Friday, I guess we were all worn out. We slept until almost 10:00.
